Description
TeenWorks, in partnership with Ivy Tech, provides teens with valuable opportunities to gain work experience, develop professional skills, and pursue educational advancement. Through summer employment, mentoring, career exploration, and skills training, TeenWorks prepares young people for college and future careers while fostering personal and financial independence.
Program Offerings:
- Workforce & Professional Development: Hands-on job experience, resume-building, career exploration, mock interviews, financial literacy, and mentorship.
- Upskilling & Financial Empowerment: Training in financial planning, credit repair, wealth-building, and homeownership assistance.
- Family Support Services: Access to resources for food, housing, healthcare, childcare, addiction recovery, and other essential needs.
- Transportation Assistance: Provided for participants commuting to and from work sites during the Summer Program.
- Educational Attainment Support: Guidance on financial aid applications, college and scholarship applications, and other academic resources.
