Description
The Julian Center is a leading organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and abuse. Founded in 1975, the center has grown from a simple referral service into Indiana’s largest domestic violence shelter, offering comprehensive services to help individuals and families break free from abuse and rebuild their lives.
Services & Support:
- Emergency Shelter & Basic Needs: Safe housing, three warm meals daily, snacks, and essential resources.
- Healthcare Access: On-site Nurse Practitioner available twice a week through HIP.
- Counseling & Mental Health Support: Licensed therapists providing group therapy and emotional support.
- Legal & Advocacy Services: Assistance navigating legal processes related to domestic violence and abuse.
- Education & Skill-Building:
- Parenting classes through the Self-Sufficiency Program.
- Academic tutoring provided three times a week by Brightlane Learning.
