Description
The PourHouse is an organization dedicated to serving homeless individuals by providing outreach, advocacy, and support services. We work to build relationships with homeless individuals to understand their needs and assist them in accessing housing, medical care, and other essential resources. The goal of The PourHouse is to empower homeless individuals to achieve stability and self-sufficiency.
The PourHouse currently offers:
- Street outreach
- Housing referrals and documentation
- Assistance with attaining personal goals
- Gatherings to provide food and necessities – (500 meals & 40+ gals. of coffee a week)
- Legal advocacy
- IDOC release guidance
- Identification assistance
- Addictions referrals
- Healthcare advocacy
